Megan Bruneau, M.A. RCC

Megan Bruneau is a psychotherapist, wellness consultant, and writer from Vancouver, Canada. While working as a personal trainer as struggling with her own destructive relationship to perfectionism and eating disorders, Megan discovered self-compassion, yoga, and other transformative qualities of Buddhism. Enamored with the philosophy, Megan began to incorporate the teachings into her work with clients. She combined her passions for Buddhist psychology and writing and created a blog, One Shrink’s Perspective. Her unique contribution to wellness was noticed immediately, and she’s since written over 250 articles totaling close to 10 million views. Megan is a regular contributor to MindBodyGreen, The Huffington Post, Thrillist, Gaiam TV, Elephant Journal, and The Aloha Way, and many more.
